UserReport data in Google Analytics

When you have setup UserReport to transfer survey data to your Google Analytics account, these data will start to appear in the custom variables in Google Analytics (allow up to 48 hours delay). To view the custom variables in Google Analytics, go to the audience report, click “custom” and “custom variables”.

To use the data that UserReport pushes to your custom variables you have to create “advanced segments” that include these data. The example below shows the creation of and advanced segment containing “women”.

When you have created your own advanced segments they will appear under “custom segments” and can be used to segment most reports in Google Analytics.

Below you can see an example of a Google Analytics report that has been filtered by two custom segments containing men and women. The report shows how men and women engage differently with the website.
